Building and maintaining relationships has always been at the core of Prafulla Pande’s professional and personal life. Early in his career, he established himself as a problem solver, incorporating a disciplined approach to resolutions that were straight forward, and ruled out any semblance of a hidden agenda. As the COO at FutureNet Group, Pande brings that same brand to the executive suite, helping to manage and transform the organization into a major contractor with the Federal Government.
Pande comes to FutureNet from PANDE Associates, Inc., a business advisory and coaching firm, where he worked with top business executives in the United States and India. He advised them on leadership, strategy formulation and strategy execution to help build better businesses. However, the road to entrepreneurship was a long time in the making; his first job out of college was a project manager. For the next 18 years, he worked at various divisions of the multi-billion dollar Thermo Electron Corporation, a major provider of analytical instruments and services, managing assignments around the world. Subsequently, he took this experience into the entrepreneurial arena, purchasing a small business and building two others from scratch. He later became a consultant for the Michigan Small Business and Technology Development Center where he consulted with startup companies, helping to make them successful.
Although Pande is used to a hectic pace of life as an executive, entrepreneur and business advisor, he is always able to carve out a little time to relax.. His favorite pastimes include occasional bridge sessions, and rounds of golf and tennis with friends. In work and in play, he weaves a consistent thread of personal accountability, always connecting the dots between building and maintaining relationships, and achieving success. He intends to apply this same philosophy to help build FutureNet into a strong growth company that can sustain the ups and downs of the economy and become a preferred place to work.
